Sports Leagues at the Event Center

Columbus Event Center is home to several different sports leagues and tournaments throughout the year. Our registration fees are very affordable, and rink memberships are not required to participate in any of our activities. While we currently offer indoor soccer, roller hockey, and dodgeball leagues, we have plans to provide additional options in the future. We are also open to any ideas you might have, so please contact us if you would like to see something new available in Columbus.

SOCCER-TENNIS TOURNAMENT COMING TO THE RINK

Columbus Event Center will host a "Soccer-Tennis" tournament in August. Exact tournament date is still in the works. The tournament will be open to teams of all ages, and age divisions will be determined based upon the number of teams registered. Cost for a two-person team will be just $30, and registrations must be received by the deadline, once set. Complete tournament rules are available by contacting the rink, and registrations will be taken online or over the phone.

Indoor Soccer Leagues

Indoor soccer is the newest addition to our lineup, and it is quickly becoming a popular option at the rink. Columbus Event Center's indoor soccer leagues are fast-paced and tons of fun! Games are high-scoring, the action is non-stop, and the kids love it. Our leagues are open to ages 5 & up, with adult league options available. Our next indoor soccer league will begin play in Fall 2010 (after end of AYSO season), so be sure to sign up early!

Roller Hockey Leagues

Roller hockey leagues are the best sports deal in town! Just $25 gets you a minimum of ten games, including playoffs and championship, as well as weekly practices just before the first game! To sweeten the deal even further, we have all the gear you need, free to borrow! Not to mention, these leagues are a blast!

All hockey leagues are taught by experienced hockey coaches who have over ten years of club hockey experience, including several National Championship appearances with the Columbus Stars roller hockey program. Ready to join? Our next roller hockey league begins September 26, 2010!

Dodgeball Leagues

One of the most popular adult activities in the Columbus area during the Winter is our Adult Dodgeball Leagues. Teams from throughout the Columbus-area compete in weekly battles for their pride, all while having a great time with friends (and getting a great workout, too)! Our adult leagues are open to team registrations only, but individual players can still contact the rink for more information. Ready to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge? Get your team in for our next league, which begins in Fall 2010!

We have also begun a youth league. Our youth dodgeball nights are held Monday nights from 6pm to 8pm. Youth ages 6 to 10 years old can play from 6pm to 7pm, while youth ages 11 to 16 years old can play from 7pm to 8pm. Watch for season dates for our next Youth Dodgeball Nights.
