About Our Hours



Columbus Event Center is home to a variety of events and activities throughout the year. Our facility is open at different times and days, depending on what types of things are on the calendar. While special events can be added to our schedule at any time, we do follow a regular hours of operation, as listed below. Please be sure to check back often, however, as this schedule is subject to change depending upon the seasons.

Rink rental for practice, parties, or otherwise scheduled for a time outside of the schedule below should be booked by contacting us, or by visiting our rink rental page. Even though our facility is generally closed during the daytime during the week, we can still host your event. Contact us for more information.



Current Rink Hours - Summer Season



(Summer operating schedule good through the end of September)

SUNDAYS (1PM to 8PM):
The rink is open for public skating on Sundays from 1pm to 4pm. Following our public skate session, our roller hockey leagues take to the floor from 5pm until 8pm. The remainder of the day is available for private parties, rental, or other activities by request.

MONDAYS (closed):
On Mondays, the rink will be closed. We will still be available to host special events and parties, however. Contact the rink if you would like to reserve a Monday night for your next event.

TUESDAYS (5PM to 8PM):
Tuesday through Thursday, the rink will be open to take your calls and league registrations. A member of the rink staff will be on hand to help answer your questions, book birthday parties, or get your child(ren) registered for one of our upcoming sports leagues (soccer, hockey, dodgeball). We will also be available to assist in purchasing new skates or skate parts, skate repairs, or other skating or sports-related equipment. Also, watch for other special events to be scheduled on one of these evenings.

WEDNESDAYS (5PM to 8PM):
Tuesday through Thursday, the rink will be open to take your calls and league registrations. A member of the rink staff will be on hand to help answer your questions, book birthday parties, or get your child(ren) registered for one of our upcoming sports leagues (soccer, hockey, dodgeball). We will also be available to assist in purchasing new skates or skate parts, skate repairs, or other skating or sports-related equipment. THURSDAYS (5PM to 8PM):

FRIDAYS (7PM to 11PM):
The rink will be open for our Friday night skate session, which runs from 7pm to 11pm. Friday nights are actually broken into two separate skate sessions, the first from 7pm to 9pm, and the second from 9pm to 11pm. Be sure to check out our skating page for the latest rates and information, but we do offer a discount for skating both sessions!

SATURDAYS (1PM to 4PM; 7PM to 10PM):
On Saturdays, the rink will be open for two different skate sessions. The first session runs from 1pm to 4pm, and the second runs from 7pm to 10pm. Saturday afternoons are a quite, relaxed skate session, perfect for families with younger children and beginners. Our Saturday night session is another great opportunity to bring out the family. See our skating page for details on our special Family Rate, which makes it very affordable for the entire family to enjoy a night out without breaking the bank. And, watch our calendar for other special events, such as sports tournaments, happening at the rink on Saturday mornings and afternoons.

Special Events



The rink is available for your private, special event! While the hours listed to the left are our current, normal hours of operation for the current season, there are still plenty of other time slots available for your private party, skate session, concert, sale, show, tournament, league, or whatever else you might have in mind!
