Indoor Soccer
Following this week's soccer action, we are down to just one more week of the regular season. With the top spot in two out of three divisions set, there is still a battle for the second seed, and a shot at the league title.
The second half of our indoor soccer league had a couple of great games, including a draw between the Lightning Bolts and Flames of Fury in our Under 11 division, and a couple of games that weren't so close.
We've reached the midway point of the Spring indoor soccer season. Following a week of very exciting games, two teams picked up their first wins of the season.
Our Spring indoor soccer league was back for its second week of play, and we had some great games for everyone this week. Just about every game on Saturday was settled with two goals or less separating the teams. Here's how it all played out...
Following a short break after our Winter indoor soccer league, kids were back for our Spring season (although the weather doesn't exactly scream Spring yet). Our Spring season will be the last session offered before taking a break for the Summer months. It was a fantastic day of soccer at the Event Center as our Under 10 Girls Competitive division wrapped up play in our Winter league season. By the final whistle, Magic Two had taken home the gold, edging out The Riot by the final score of 2-1 in the championship game.
The final whistle was blown on our 2013 Winter recreational indoor soccer leagues at the Event Center. The winter season featured 11 teams across three age divisions. Following this week's playoffs and championship games, three new champions were crowned: Chelsea (U16), Cheetas (U12), and the Copperheads (U8).
The final week of the Winter league regular season is in the books, and we now have the playoff schedule set for next week.
It was another exciting week of indoor soccer action at the Event Center. There's a tight race heading into the final week of the regular season. None of our age divisions are fully set yet, and it will come down to the next week's games to determine the playoff schedule.
The third week of our recreational indoor soccer league was an exciting one, with nearly every game played being decided by one goal or less. In the competitive division, Magic Two swept their doubleheader to move into a tie for the top spot in the league standings.
