WINTER DODGEBALL LEAGUES BEGIN TUESDAY, JANUARY 19th! Registration deadline for this league is 10pm on Saturday, January 9th. Teams must have their completed team roster and registration fees AT THE RINK by the deadline. NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED! Please contact the rink if other arrangements are necessary. Schedules will be written just after the deadline, and captains will be notified of game times immediately upon their completion. Schedules will also be posted online as soon as possible, and be made available at the rink starting with the first week of league play.
The league will run approximately 10 weeks in length. Our adult division is open to team registrations only. If you are an individual player looking for a team, please call the rink at (402)562-5663, or email us. Sometimes, teams are looking for additional players to help fill their rosters, and we can let those teams know of individuals looking to play.
In the adult division, in order to have a team, there must be a minimum of six players on the roster. There is no maximum limit to the number of players on a roster, but for your safety, a maximum of twelve players can participate in a game at a time (six on the floor and six on the bench). Players will not be allowed to enter and exit the rink during the game, and any additional players (above the twelve participants) must watch from outside of the glass. Rosters with an excessive number of players are recommended to split and form an additional team to increase playing time for all participants.
Team entry fee for the adult division is $200 for the entire team. Obviously, the more players you are able to get on your roster, the cheaper the league will be for each team member. In the past, teams have found sponsors to help cover part or all of their entry fee. League games will be played on Tuesday evenings.
To be guaranteed a spot in the league, you must register as soon as possible, as only the first 8 for each age are guaranteed a spot in this current league. We have, and will continue to, accept more than eight teams as time allows. However, we can only guarantee that the first eight teams who register will be accepted into the league. Hurry, as spots can fill up very, VERY fast.
League rules are available at the rink (or here). Games will be officiated by a member of the skating rink staff, or other arrangements made prior to the start of the season.
