Rink rules and code of conduct
For the safety and enjoyment of our visitors, the following rules are in place: Our facility opens its doors to the general public for a wide variety of safe, fun, and family-oriented events and activities for your enjoyment. To ensure that these events remain just the way we envision them, we have laid out a series of Rink Rules and guidelines for our employees, as well as our guests. This will allow us to continue to offer a safe place for anyone who visits our facility for our events. Our 'Rink Rules' are posted throughout the facility. Your participation in or spectating of any of our events or activities is your acceptance of these rules, and you will be held accountable as needed to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all of our guests and rink staff. Parents who leave their 'minor' children at our facility accept the responsibility of the actions of their minor child(ren) and will be responsible for any damages caused by said child(ren) while they use our facility. The rink staff will be courteous and helpful and will behave in an appropriate, non-violent manner at all times. They will be honest in all situations, and agree to help remedy any potentially dangerous situation that may arise due to the actions of others. At the same time, the rink staff will handle all situations of an illegal manner (drug or alcohol use, weapons on the premises, gang activity, threats of any nature) in an extremely serious nature. Individuals who are deemed to be jeopardizing the safety or enjoyment of other visitors to our facility will be asked to stop their behavior immediately, be asked to leave the facility for the day/evening/ be banned from the facility for specified period of time, and/or be prosecuted to the harshest allowable by law. All rink employees have been directed to contact the proper authorities in instances that require such, and our security team is in place to help ensure that such situations never materialize. For the safety of rink staff, we are not authorized to provide car rides home to children left at our facility. Instead, the proper authorities will be called to handle the situation. We will also alert the authorities in the event your child attempts to leave our facility (walk home, etc) without a ride home. We care about your safety and the safety of your child(ren), and the highway in front of our building is not a safe place for children to be walking or playing on or around. Again, your participation in or spectating of any of our events or activities is an agreement to these terms. Parents leaving their minor child(ren) at our facility also accept complete responsibility for their child(ren)'s actions and financial repayment for damaged rink property. If you do not agree to these terms, then you should not participate in our events, or you should remain at the facility to ensure that your child(ren) follow our posted 'Rink Rules.' Meanwhile, guests are expected to treat rink staff and other guests with respect, and refrain from any form of verbal or physical assault or violence towards any other individual. Again, all instances will be dealt with in the harshest possible way. Other rules specific to certain events or activities or locations within our facility are clearly posted inside of our facility. As previously mentioned, your participation or spectating of events, or leaving your children at our facility for an event constitutes an agreement of responsibility for our terms of use. If you are unaware of certain event or activity rules or expectations, then please come in to our facility to read them as posted, or contact rink management for clarification on this or any other rules and expectations within our facility. Thank you for your cooperation! |
